Custom 2024 Land Cruiser Mounting Plate for Car DVR Rear Camera (Wolfbox, FitcamX, etc)

Our install was done on a vehicle without the factory digital rearview camera.  I wanted to mount it to a surface that didn't move with the liftgate.  What advantages does that have?

• Still records rear view when liftgate is up while loading and unloading cargo area
• You can move the vehicle around and see out the back even if the liftgate is up

The headliner can be a stable location to mount it as long as you have a baseplate.

This custom plate is adhesive backed and slotted for the Wolfbox rear camera mount.  It drills into a plastic headliner mount with included self tapping screws.  This also fits a variety of other cameras.

Installation

All you need is a couple screwdrivers.  Be careful not to overtighten self tapping screws.  You want to create a firm mounting location that is free from vibration.  You don't want to strip the factory headliner bracket.
