2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser Vent Window Overlay with Holes
Metal window covers or overlays with holes are fairly popular in the off road community. Can you mimic this look with vinyl? You sure can. This can be done easily at a much lower cost.
NOTE: This comes as a left and right pair. Be careful, install in the shade in 70 degree or warmer weather with a very wet install.
Install Notes
Do a very wet install in 70 degree or above weather. Make sure this is done in the shade. You will not need a squeegee for this install as you will use your fingers to press down on the vinyl.
Clean the install surface and your hands. Wet installs require one drop of dish or hand soap in a cup of water. Apply to the vinyl and window so that the first attempt doesn't make the vinyl permanently stick to the surface. You DO NOT need a squeegee for this material. Just use your fingers!
Try doing the install in the shade so it doesn't heat up the vinyl rapidly. Try to even out the gaps at the ends. Because of the rubber trim we wanted to leave a little room for error in alignment.
