Fuel Door Overlay
We used to have some neat designs that were popular, but the big guy didn't like them. Let's start over with this solid overlay that gives your vehicle a little contrast.
Let us know if you want to see more colors or designs (as long as they don't upset the big guy again...).
These provide a little extra protection and can cover up light imperfections.
Installation
Clean the application area and apply the vinyl using wet installation. Make sure the area is clean and free of dust, debris, dirt, Armor All, etc.
Some will choose to clean the application area with rubbing alcohol which is okay.
"Rubbing alcohol will not damage car paint if it is diluted to between 10% and 15%. Since rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly, it doesn't damage car paint."
Try doing the install in the shade so it doesn't heat up the vinyl rapidly. Please watch our video for a detailed installation.
Keep a dish of soapy water (1 or 2 drops of dish / hand soap with a couple cups of water) around. You will want to wet the fuel door and the back of the vinyl.
Also recommend using a felt tip squeegee. In this video we swap out the soapy water with a product called Rapid Tac. You can also use our pre filled bottles of StickerFab Application Fluid.
