Our 2024-CurrentFord Mustang GT Performance Pack Wing Gurney Flap is designed to reduce drag, and provide extra downforce at the same time.
The Gurney Flap is made with high-quality dry (pre-preg) carbon fiber finished in gloss or matte clear coat that is UV and scratch resistant. We are also offering Polyurethane versions in matte black finish.
The Gurney Flap is held on with 3M™ Super Strength Molding Tape.
The vehicle’s surface needs to be thoroughly cleaned with alcohol before the installation to ensure a proper bond with the 3M™ tape.
We recommend applying adhesion promoter on the back side of the flares before installing the 3M™ tape to help with better adhesion. Optimal surface temperature for the 3M™ Super Strength Molding Tape is above 65°F (18°C).
We highly recommend applying paint protection film on the carbon fiber products to prevent rock chip damage, and prolong the life of the finish.
