The Grille Inserts are made with high-quality dry (pre-preg) carbon fiber finished in gloss or matte clear coat that is UV and scratch resistant.
The Grille Inserts are held on with 3M™ Super Strength Molding Tape.
The vehicle’s surface needs to be thoroughly cleaned with alcohol before the installation to ensure a proper bond with the 3M™ tape.
We recommend applying adhesion promoter on the back side of the flares before installing the 3M™ tape to help with better adhesion. Optimal surface temperature for the 3M™ Super Strength Molding Tape is above 65°F (18°C).
We highly recommend applying paint protection film on the carbon fiber products to prevent rock chip damage, and prolong the life of the finish.
