If you have a roof rack or crossbars that you want to mount your Rugged Mounts on to but you don't have channels to slide carriage bolts into, then this is the hardware that you will need. The long bolts and bar make it so you can "sandwich plate" mount around your bars or rack. This kit comes with 4 plates and 8 bolts, washers, and nuts.
