It gives you the same modular mounting as the Full Height version in a shorter package, so a rooftop tent can sit roughly in line with the cab instead of towering over it, with less drag and less overall height.

Why it works

It is all aluminum, assembles with bolts only, and weighs 45 lbs. Top C-channel crossbars add lateral strength, and modular side panels give you places to hang gear. It stands 10 inches from the top of the bed rail to the top of the rack. Black powder coat is included, it is made in the USA, and Backwoods backs it with a lifetime warranty.

Fitment

2022+ (3rd gen) Toyota Tundra, short bed

2007-2021 (2nd gen) Toyota Tundra, short bed, with factory bed rails/tracks

2007+ long bed Tundras also fit, but the rack will not run the full length of the bed

Works with

Backwoods bike tray mounts, HD awning brackets and the Dogbone traction board mount, plus storage boxes and deck panels.
