It is meant for JKs on a 3-6 inch lift whose owners want more from the front suspension and are ready to cut and weld to get it. This is a fabrication job, not a weekend bolt-on, and we would rather say that up front.

Why it works

Stout tubing: the upper arms use 42mm x 4mm wall DOM tube and the lower arms use 50mm x 5mm wall DOM tube.

Reinforced brackets: the long arm brackets are gusseted and reinforced. TeraFlex says this layout cuts NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) compared with other long arm kits.

IR Bushings: they let the arm rotate and flex without restriction while still soaking up noise and vibration, so you keep articulation without a rattly ride.

Arms and brackets together: the arms and the brackets are sold as a matched set, so you are not mixing parts from different systems.

Fitment

2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JK Unlimited running a 3-6 inch lift. TeraFlex part number 1957100. The rear half of the system is sold separately as the Alpine IR Rear Long Arm & Brackets kit.

Install notes

Plan on cutting and welding. The factory control arm bracketry has to be cut off or otherwise removed before the Alpine brackets can go on, so this belongs in a shop with a welder and someone who knows how to use it.

Questions before you order?

Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships.
