It is made from heavy-duty 3/16"-thick steel that is CNC laser cut and precision bent. The point of the forming is location: a mount that sits where it should keeps the suspension geometry correct, and that matters more than any single dimension on the part.

It is a weld-on part, which means it belongs in a build where the axle is already being fabricated or rebuilt. It gives the rear sway bar a mounting point on the axle. Because the position of the bracket sets how the rest of the system behaves, mock up the axle and the parts that attach to this mount, check your measurements, and tack the bracket before committing to the final weld.

The listing is for one bracket, the driver side. Order the matching opposite-side piece or any other mounts separately if your axle needs them.

Fitment

Listed for 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Intended for use with a Dana 44/60 rear axle, per the product name. Not listed for any other Jeep model.

Install notes

Welding is required. This is not a bolt-on part, so budget for a welder, proper prep and a final check of axle alignment before the weld is finished.

Questions before you order?

Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships.
