TeraFlex is clear that base kits carry just the basic lift components and lack the drivability of a full suspension system.

The shocks matter here: TeraFlex says the 9550 VSS shocks are engineered to work with its lift coil springs to improve compression and rebound. The geometry parts are on you. Adjustable control arms and/or an adjustable front track bar may be needed, plus caster correction, and none of that is included.

Fitment

1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ.

Install notes

These kits may require additional components sold separately, including adjustable control arms and/or an adjustable front track bar to correct suspension geometry. Caster correction is required and not included. Requires aftermarket wheels with 4.5" backspacing or less, or Offset Wheel Adapters (part 1005200) for stock wheels. The adapters are not included. TeraFlex states that lifts of 4" and up require a CV-style driveshaft and a Short Shaft Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit (Extreme: part 4444400, or part 4444401).

Questions before you order?

Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships.
