This RCI Metalworks plate replaces it with steel or aluminum that covers roughly twice the area of the partial OEM cover, protecting the transmission, exhaust and oil pan. It works as a stand-alone piece or alongside RCI front and transfer-case skid plates.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBuilt-in cooling vents keep air moving around the exhaust, and the underside is smooth and flat so it slides over rocks and ledges instead of catching on them. A flush-mount oil drain door means oil changes do not require pulling the plate, with one condition covered below.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eFitment\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eFits 4x4 F-150s from 2009 to present with the 5.0 V8, 3.5L EcoBoost, 2.7L EcoBoost or the 3.3L engine. It does not fit PowerBoost hybrids; there is a separate PowerBoost version. It will not fit with drop bracket lift kits.
