These RCI rock sliders are frame-mounted: a full-length frame plate with bolts all along it spreads an impact into the frame instead of the sheet metal, and the same plate protects the frame itself. They also take parking lot abuse and still work as a step.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe main rail is 2\" square tube with 1.75\" DOM outer rails as standard, 1\/4\" gussets on all five legs and a 3\/16\" frame plate. The tube ends are mitered to follow the truck's body lines, the angle is a fixed 5 degrees upward, and the rear kick-out is low profile. RCI says the design can carry the weight of that side of the truck for hi-lift lifting or sliding over rock.
