rci-lower-link-skids-2003-2024-4runner-fj-cruiser-gx
RCI Lower Link Skids - 2003-2024 4Runner / FJ Cruiser / GX

The rear lower link mounts are a vulnerable spot on these trucks, and this pair of lower link skids covers them. RCI cuts the plates from 3/16-inch steel, adds a black powder coat, and gives them a smooth, flat surface for sliding over obstacles. A heavy-duty replacement bolt for the lower link is included, which is a nice detail since you have to pull the original anyway.

The attachment method is the part to be aware of: the design needs two holes drilled to secure the front edge to the vehicle frame. RCI argues this makes a solid attachment point. If you want a no-drill product, this is not it.

Fitment

Listed for the 2003-2024 Toyota 4Runner and FJ Cruiser, and the title also lists GX models. The description names only the 4Runner and FJ Cruiser, so call us to confirm if you own a GX.

What's included

Both driver and passenger side skids, the heavy-duty replacement lower link bolt, all hardware and installation instructions.

Install notes

Requires drilling two holes to fasten the front edge to the frame. RCI says installation takes minutes, and an installation guide is published.

Questions before you order?

Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships.
