rci-12-hd-bed-rack
RCI 12" HD Bed Rack

The 12" HD Bed Rack is RCI's best-selling truck bed rack. It carries the same features as RCI's custom-fit racks but adjusts to fit almost any bed, from a Chevy Colorado to a Dodge 3500, and RCI is phasing out the custom-fit racks in its favor. You choose one of three bed lengths and set the width to match your truck. It uses three cross-members across the bed, which gives it the highest weight capacity of the adjustable line and spreads the load evenly over the bed rails.

It stands 12" above the bed rail, so rear-window visibility stays good and a roof top tent sits largely below the roofline, which cuts drag. Slotted mounting points on top accept nearly any roof top tent, and built-in points take lights, a Hi-Lift, CO2 bottle, fire extinguisher, Quick Fist clamps, RotoPax and a spare tire. Two top braces are included.

Fitment

Adjusts to beds with 55.25" to 64" between the rails, in 5 ft (46"), 5 ft 6 in (52") and 6 ft (58") lengths. Mounting options include adapter kits for 2005-2015 Tacoma, 2016-2023 Tacoma, 2024+ Tacoma, 07+ Tundra and Jeep Gladiator, and 22+ Nissan Frontier (for beds with an accessory rail), plus universal drill-free C-clamps, which do not work with accessory rail systems.

Capacity

RCI tested the rack in-house to as much as 1500 lbs static and recommends about 750 lbs as a benchmark for parked loads.

Install notes

Bolts to the inside of the bed rails. Assembly takes about 45 minutes with basic hand tools, and all hardware is included.

Questions before you order?

Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships.
