Upgraded red and white LEDs handle brake, turn and reverse duty, and the lights are listed as meeting DOT and SAE rules for rear-facing lamps.

The vendor says the lights install as a plug-and-play swap on trucks with standard halogen or incandescent factory lights. Morimoto also offers an optional LED Backup Boost Bar that plugs into the system and adds extra reverse lighting (a listed 2,700 lumens of controlled light).
