Heavy Duty Drag Link Kit - Jeep CJ 1972-1981 Narrow Track

The stock drag link on a CJ is, in M.O.R.E.'s own blunt word, wimpy. This M.O.R.E. kit replaces it with 1 inch outside diameter, .219 inch wall DOM steel tubing built for heavy duty use.

This kit fits 1972-1981 Jeep CJs with the Dana 30 front axle, narrow track. The tubes are threaded for 5/8 inch left and right hand rod ends and have wrench flats on each end, so adjusting toe is simple. The rod ends are Teflon/Kevlar lined, self-lubricating, with heat treated, plated alloy steel bodies. Jam nuts and grade 8 hardware are included.

This is not a plug-and-play swap. You will have to drill the stock tapered knuckle holes out to a straight 5/8 inch, and once you do, going back to stock ends gets complicated. The links can mount over or under the knuckles. Choose bare steel with no paint, or yellow zinc plating for corrosion protection.

Have the front end aligned after install, and re-check the jam nuts after the first trail run. M.O.R.E. (Mountain Off-Road Enterprises) has been building Jeep parts in Delta, Colorado since 1978, when Chris Overacker started the company in his home garage. Parts are designed in 3D CAD, laser cut and welded in-house in the USA. M.O.R.E. backs its parts with the RockProof Lifetime Warranty for the original retail purchaser, for as long as they own the vehicle, against product failure. Rubber, urethane and the finish are treated as wear items and are not covered, and neither is labor or shipping.

Questions on fitment?
