Bomb Proof Motor Mounts - Jeep CJ 1972-1986 AMC V8

The AMC V8 makes the kind of torque that finds every weak spot in a CJ, and stock motor mounts are usually the first thing to give. This M.O.R.E. Bomb Proof kit replaces them with steel mounts and black polyurethane bushings that keep the engine located when you lean on it.

It fits 1972-1986 Jeep CJ models with the AMC 8-cylinder. The mounts bolt into the factory frame and engine holes, so most owners will not need to weld or modify anything. Order them zinc plated for corrosion protection, or with no plating if you plan to paint them to match your engine bay.

The urethane bushings are there to control drivetrain movement and keep steel from rubbing on steel. M.O.R.E. (Mountain Off-Road Enterprises) has been building Jeep parts in Delta, Colorado since 1978, when Chris Overacker started the company in his home garage. Parts are designed in 3D CAD, laser cut and welded in-house in the USA.

Torque everything to spec and give it a second look after the first hard outing. M.O.R.E. backs its parts with the RockProof Lifetime Warranty for the original retail purchaser, for as long as they own the vehicle, against product failure. Rubber, urethane and the finish are treated as wear items and are not covered, and neither is labor or shipping.

Questions on fitment?
