If you want selectable traction in the back without moving up to a different axle, this is the unit that goes in the existing carrier.

The Air Locker works pneumatically. With the switch flipped, the internal differential gears stop rotating, so both axle shafts turn with the ring gear and the truck keeps the most traction it can get. It engages at any speed. Left off, it acts like a conventional open differential, so on-road drivability and driveline wear are not affected.

The design is two-piece with few moving parts, the patented timed locking mechanism unlocks quickly, and the steel-reinforced, elastomer-bonded annular seal is built for extreme temperatures. Driven in a slower, more controlled way, a locked truck is less likely to get damaged.

Fitment

Rear Dana M200 axle on the Jeep Wrangler JL Sport, 2018 through 2023 per the vendor tags.

What's included

Air Locker differential, activation switch, solenoid valve, air line and bulkhead fitting.
